Definition
The Information Commission is the reconstituted regulatory body proposed by the bill (reforming aspects of the current Information Commissioner's Office), established with statutory board arrangements, a chair and chief executive, investigative and enforcement powers, and responsibilities including oversight of registers, advisory roles on DVS design, and enforcement under the data protection framework.
