Reservation of rights
A rightsholder declaration to withhold authorisation for TDM.
Definition
A declaration by a rights holder, under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 (DSM Directive), that withholds or reserves authorization for Text and Data Mining uses of their works or protected subject-matter. The process seeks machine-readable ways to express such reservations so automated systems can detect and honor them.
