A service category (information, binding, authentication, credential, or facilitation) that, when operated by an accredited provider, meets the operational, technical and governance requirements of the Digital Identity Services Trust Framework Rules and Act. Accreditation authorises a provider to offer that category and subjects the provider to the Rules' conformity assessment, reporting, oversight and remediation obligations.
