Definition
Affected populations are the individuals, groups or communities whose rights, interests, safety, wellbeing or socioeconomic conditions may be positively or negatively affected by the AI system; identifying these populations is required for targeted impact identification, stakeholder engagement and prioritisation of mitigation measures.
