Anonymized data
Data processed to prevent re-identification of individuals.
Definition
Data that has undergone specified anonymisation techniques intended to remove or sufficiently mask identifiers and reduce re-identification risk, such that individuals cannot be reasonably identified; release of anonymized data requires application of risk-assessment toolkits and may be audited. The draft mandates anonymisation and risk assessments prior to dataset inclusion or release.
