Definition
An assurance metric in the Rules that defines required controls, authenticator properties, and operational processes to ensure an authentication event provides a specified level of confidence that a presented credential or authenticator corresponds to the legitimate holder or user, aligned with the Framework's Authentication Assurance requirements.
