Child user

A user classified as a child under the Act.

Definition

A person identified by the Act as a child for purposes of applying enhanced protections online; PSEs must treat child users according to obligations such as publishing minimum-age information, implementing verification mechanisms where required, and providing abuse-reporting channels to mitigate exposure and harm.
