The MPO-hosted coordination forum convening central ministries, supervisory bodies, academia, industry and civil society to coordinate national AI policy, prepare implementation steps for the EU AI Act, and provide recommendations and draft proposals to government; it is advisory and does not exercise enforcement powers.
The consultative body established under the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization (MCID) without juridical personality, tasked to provide proposals and expert opinions for regulation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of AI activities and to support the development and implementation of national AI policy.

The Comitetul Român pentru Inteligență Artificială (CRIA) is a national, multisectoral consultative committee established under the patronage of the Prime Minister to coordinate public- and private-sector AI initiatives, support development of the national AI strategy, host councils and working groups, and serve as a single contact and dissemination point for stakeholders.
