Committee (CRIA)

The Romanian Committee for Artificial Intelligence (CRIA) is an advisory, non‑juridical body placed under the Prime Minister's patronage with the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization (MCID) as technical secretariat, tasked to coordinate AI strategy and implementation, compile strategic projects, and monitor national AI initiatives across ministries, academia, industry and civil society.

The Comitetul Român pentru Inteligență Artificială (CRIA) is a national, multisectoral consultative committee established under the patronage of the Prime Minister to coordinate public- and private-sector AI initiatives, support development of the national AI strategy, host councils and working groups, and serve as a single contact and dissemination point for stakeholders.
