The disclosure verification tool is a no-cost mechanism that must assess whether image, video, or audio content was created or altered by the provider’s GenAI system, except for minor modifications. It must support upload, URL submission, and access without requiring the user to visit the provider’s website.
A verification tool that public bodies may use to determine whether artificial intelligence is present in a government interaction. The act ties permissible use of such tools to criteria in Business and Professions Code Section 22757.2.
