Definition
A structured set of principles and procedures used to identify, assess and mitigate ethical risks in AI systems—such as fairness, explainability, privacy, non-discrimination, and accountability—and to guide proportionate governance decisions across the AI lifecycle (e.g., FAIRA or an equivalent justified alternative).
