Denotes practices and operational measures for developing and deploying AI that respect human rights, promote fairness, ensure transparency and enable accountability; encompasses explainability, non‑discrimination, human oversight and other safeguards recommended by the Council.
Use of technologies in a manner consistent with rights protection, transparency, data protection and other ethical standards, incorporating safeguards such as non-discrimination, auditability and human oversight for AI deployments in consular services.
