Evaluation of Impact
Human-rights-focused impact assessment (DPIA-like) for AI projects.
Definitions (2)
A required human-rights-oriented assessment (similar to a DPIA) that identifies, evaluates and proposes mitigation for risks an AI system may pose to individuals or groups; the procedure includes documentation, public disclosure (for high-risk systems), and must be performed prior to deployment and updated during the lifecycle. The Evaluation of Impact is a compliance instrument used to determine required safeguards and to inform registration and authorization decisions.
A preventive assessment instrument required according to the use-case risk level, designed to identify and mitigate privacy, bias, legal and operational risks associated with a specific IAGen deployment and to determine necessary technical and organizational safeguards.
