High-risk algorithm
An algorithm with significant impact on rights, duties, entitlements or interests.
Definition
An algorithmic or automated decision-support/decision-making system whose use can materially affect individuals’ rights, duties, entitlements, or significant interests; identified operationally by likely impact and to be aligned with the EU AI Regulation's risk-based approach. High-risk classification triggers mandatory IKA measures, documentation, an IAMA, and registration in the Algoritmeregister.
