The ensemble of procedures and powers established by LN 226 under which MDIA acts as the default Market Surveillance Authority for AI systems not allocated elsewhere, including inspections, sampling methodologies, information‑sharing, enforcement measures, and coordination with sectoral regulators and the IDPC to ensure compliance with applicable AI requirements.
