A combination of data and compute infrastructure, registries, APIs, shared services and tooling that together enable dataset access, model training, evaluation and reuse. The Committee defines platforms as technical ecosystems that include repositories, access-control mechanisms, developer toolkits and shared compute nodes.
Denotes the multi‑stakeholder convening, advisory and coordinating body (Plattform Lernende Systeme) that develops guidance, scenarios and recommendations but does not possess statutory rule‑making or enforcement powers; it organises working groups, publications and events to inform policy and practice.
