Definition
The PCM office designated by the law as the national technical‑normative authority responsible for directing, evaluating, supervising and coordinating AI and related emerging technologies; its duties include preparing regulatory proposals, issuing implementation guidance, approving standards and guidelines, coordinating inter‑agency action (including with the ANPD), conducting public consultations, and reporting annually to Congress on AI deployment and risks.
