Personal Information and Data Protection Tribunal.
Definition
The statutory administrative body established by the PIDPTA to hear appeals and penalty matters arising under the companion Consumer Privacy Protection Act (CPPA). The Tribunal is composed of appointed members, issues binding written decisions with reasons, and whose decisions may be made orders of the Federal Court for enforcement.
