A set of attributes the Framework identifies as desirable for AI systems — including validity/reliability, safety, security/resilience, accountability/transparency, explainability/interpretability, privacy enhancement, and fairness with harmful bias managed — used to guide measurement, tradeoffs, and TEVV activities.
