Network infrastructures capable of delivering very high capacity broadband (for example fibre and 5G/6G‑ready deployments) targeted by the Strategy for accelerated rollout, spatial planning changes, incentives and subsidies to ensure widespread high‑speed connectivity.

Networks providing very high transmission capacity, explicitly including fibre-optic infrastructure and 5G deployments, intended to support large-scale digital services and connectivity targets across urban and rural areas.
