Definition
A legislatively established, joint-chair workgroup convened to monitor AI developments, study impacts across employment, consumer protection, privacy, and government services, and produce annual recommendations to the Maryland General Assembly. It is jointly chaired by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House and staffed by the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security.
