The Garante banned further processing of Enrico Ettore Mentana’s personal data in the described AI-generated deepfake segments, except retention for possible judicial use. It also reprimanded R.T.I. after finding violations of GDPR principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency and data protection by design and by default.
