The national supervisory authority designated as the default regulator for AI matters not allocated to sectoral bodies; AESIA is empowered to coordinate sectoral authorities, oversee national sandboxes, maintain registers, define conformity assessment modalities where needed, impose provisional withdrawals and produce annual enforcement and impact reports.
