AI Procurement refers to the processes, policies, and controls governing the acquisition of AI systems and services. Effective AI procurement addresses unique risks not present in traditional technology procurement:

- Vendor evaluation: Assessing AI-specific capabilities and practices
- Risk assessment: Evaluating AI risks before acquisition
