High‑risk use case
Use case assessed as having elevated likelihood or consequence of harm.
Definition
A use case that, following an agency risk assessment (supported by the DTA Risk Matrix), presents an elevated likelihood or consequence of harm to individuals, rights, safety, security or public trust. Identification of a high‑risk use case triggers a notification duty by the AO to the DTA including basic information (type of AI, intended application, why it is considered high‑risk, and any sensitivities) to support whole‑of‑government oversight and coordinated mitigation.
