Definition

A legal entity established by the Act (foundation/association-type) tasked with accelerating trustworthy AI adoption in Latvia by convening stakeholders, administering state funding and pilot projects, issuing non‑binding technical and ethical guidance, coordinating research and standards activities, and representing Latvia in EU and international AI fora. It operates under a tripartite governance model with ministerial oversight and defined reporting channels to the Cabinet and Saeima.
