Definition
The centre of expertise established by the Act within the Commission (DG CONNECT) tasked with coordinating EU‑level AI governance, issuing guidance and technical material, and — from specified dates — exercising exclusive enforcement and oversight powers for certain obligations (notably those concerning GPAI under Chapter V).
