Definition
An existing sectoral regulator or market surveillance body formally designated under national regulations (S.I. No. 366/2025 and the Bill) to exercise supervision, market surveillance, conformity-assessment oversight, enforcement actions and reporting within its sectoral remit, and to coordinate with the Single Point of Contact and National AI Office.
