Definition
The national authority designated by the Draft Act (MIRRI in the proposal) to act as the principal notifying and coordinating body for AI oversight, receive registrations/notifications of high‑risk AI systems, maintain related registers, and exercise supervisory powers including inspections and corrective orders. It also coordinates with sectoral regulators, the Data Protection Authority and the European AI Office network.
