State-level advisory body for AI strategy and policy.
Definition
A council established by the Executive Order to advise and support the Governor and state agencies on AI strategy, policy, and training. Co-chaired by the Secretaries of the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Commerce, it may include up to 25 governor-appointed members and is charged with producing a recommended State AI Strategic Roadmap and policy and ethics recommendations.
