Definition
Entities that issue, manage, or operate electronic certification services as enumerated in Article 13A (for example: electronic signatures, electronic seals, time-stamping, registered electronic delivery, website authentication, preservation services, and digital identity). These providers are subject to registration/recognition and must comply with the technical, administrative, and oversight requirements set by the Act and implementing regulations.
