Definition
A set of raw or processed data that is used to fit, tune, or otherwise train machine-learning models, including any associated labels, annotations, and preprocessing applied for model development. The Guidelines treat training datasets as contractual assets requiring representations about quality, composition, and lawful use (e.g., privacy compliance).
