AI Attribution
Obligation to identify and cite the AI system behind generated content.
Definition
A compliance requirement that images, videos, substantive text, and significant or critical source code produced by AI systems be attributed to the specific AI system used and include an HITL assertion naming the department or group that reviewed or edited the content; where feasible attributions should be embedded (e.g., watermark) and code attributions added via comments and documentation.
