Definition
A statutorily authorized national research resource that federates computational resources, data repositories, software environments, model APIs, testbeds, educational materials, and user support to enable trustworthy AI research for eligible U.S.-based researchers and organizations; governed by a NAIRR Steering Subcommittee and operated under a competitively selected Operating Entity with oversight by a Program Management Office.
