Independent supervisory authority for data protection in Nigeria.
Definition
An autonomous regulatory body established by the NDPA to interpret, supervise and enforce the Act; the NDPC issues subsidiary legislation and directives, registers entities, conducts audits and investigations, levies fines, and coordinates with sectoral regulators to oversee data protection compliance.
