Programa de Inteligencia Artificial (Program)

An internal, transversal institutional structure within the Ministerio Público Fiscal charged with designing AI strategy, issuing technical and ethical standards, evaluating project proposals, implementing monitoring and training, and coordinating inter‑secretariat and external cooperation. It is not an independent regulator but operates under the authority of the Procuración General to manage AI lifecycle, procurement protocols, and oversight within the MPF.

The Programa de Inteligencia Artificial is the administrative program formally created by Resolución 90/2021 to coordinate actors, launch calls, design training and research projects, and foster national talent and technological autonomy in AI. It is the central instrument for executing BID‑funded capacity‑building and innovation activities under the referenced loan subcomponent.
