The Decision defines the 'Office' as the European Artificial Intelligence Office established within the Commission's Directorate‑General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT), tasked to accelerate preparation for implementation and enforcement of the EU AI Act, coordinate monitoring, evaluation, investigations and international cooperation, and provide secretariat and administrative support to the AI Board while operating under Commission procedures and without superseding national authorities.
The Office of Artificial Intelligence Policy created in this act.
